While a few of our children travel to visit family, please pray for safety on the roads.  Pray for Rutendo’s toothache and Tariro’s swollen glands (mumps?).

We rejoiced yesterday with the angels in heaven, when we heard that 2 local men had given their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ!  Now the church is growing and there are new salvations almost weekly, but these men are special to us!

From having a reputation for drinking and being aggressive with his family and relationships whenever he drank, ‘Mr. Y’ is a changed man!  We have sponsored his daughter for years, and upheld his wife through some tough years in moral &  prayerful support. What an answer to prayer, a life of change for his whole family, and a witness to his community!

Then there’s ‘Mr. C’ who is father to 2 of our resident children. From a life of desperation after his wife passed away, and the hope provided for his girls and family through the Village of Hope he began seeking, even pronouncing that he was going to give his life to Christ.  He followed through and today is attending the church’s New Life classes, learning the basics of the christian walk.

The Village of Hope is a place of healing not just for children!  God be praised!

As the clinic building is almost complete, now the process and paperwork begin to make this dream a reality. Please pray the process through with us!

Praise God for Tashinga leading worship, Gabriel dancing at the altar, Simongoliso reciting Psalm 23, Tendayi reciting the entire story of the Prodigal Son, Takunda’s new found health & happiness. God is changing children’s lives for His glory here at the VOH!

Please pray for the process! We have applied for an amendment to our registration to allow us to take in up to 72 resident children. But the paperwork is stuck ‘in process’.  May God clear a way.

Please pray for all the work permits and fund raising and logistics to be done to see this couple on the ground September of this year.
