Want to come and see and participate in the Village of Hope?

We welcome teams at the Village of Hope to assist with projects and get involved in ministry to children along side of us! This space is currently under construction and will in the near future have a manual available to teams thinking of coming to the Village of Hope, Zimbabwe.

If you are thinking of sending a team, please contact us directly using the contact form , no later than 6 months before your intended month of arrival. We cannot entertain teams without prior approval and careful planning to ensure you have the best possible and safest experience. In the meantime, you can look at opportunities below and start praying about the possibilities.

Ministry to children

  • Training on Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Social Workers versed in psycho-social support for children.
  • Preschool
  • Community Outreach Program
    • Chosen Ones feeding program
    • After School Discipleship Program
  • Homes/house moms

Building

  • Building teams. (Building funds are required.)
  • Carpentry (we would like to make our own furniture for the school/homes).

Medical

  • Medical personnel who could do physical check-ups and/or hygiene education.

Computer expertise

  • Computer repair, updating, networking and general training.

Ministry to Staff

  • Farming expertise to further train our farm workers.
  • General Team-building Sessions.
  • Special training on Administration

Hope Community Church

  • Sunday school/ VBS (must be during school holidays)
  • Youth Programs/camps (must be during school holidays)
  • Preaching series/themes (by pastors)

SCHOOL

  • Teacher training,
  • Teachers Assistants
  • Homework help
  • Special courses
