Missions Statement: To minister hope in Christ. To establish a loving, worshipping, obedient, people of God who serve their communities in spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
In partnership with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ), Hope Community Church, was established in 2001 under the Pastoral leadership of Rev. Murray Cornelius, a Pentecostal Assemblies Of Canada (PAOC) missionary.
Rev. Munetsi Zowa took over the ministry in 2002 along with his wife and growing family (pictured left).
Today the congregation boasts 350 on a full Sunday and is growing. Regular prayer ministry, youth, young adults, couples, men’s and women’s ministry events happen weekly or monthly.
The church members and Pastor assist us at the Village of Hope in giving spiritual oversight to the children that attend programs or live on the grounds. They are deeply involved in the community, and are part of our Village of Hope Management Committee and CHAPS School Board. We work closely together to affect our community and the children in it for Jesus Christ – to give them HOPE…FOR THEIR FUTURE!
