The farm at the Village of Hope has a three fold purpose;

- to provide a source of fresh vegetables and fruit to the children’s homes, preschool and feeding program.

- to provide employment to local people

- to provide a source of produce sold at reduced costs to people who wouldn’t be able to afford it otherwise.

The crops grown regularly include maize (corn), potatoes, onions, carrots, tomatoes, covo (pictured below). Fruits grown include bananas, avocadoes, oranges and mangoes.
